Worked with Charlie for 20 years at Agriculture Canada. Always admired him as a friend and a very congenial co-worker. My sympathies to the family during this difficult time.

Margaret and Charlie have been family friends for longer than I can count. It is with sadness that we say goodbye to Charlie but have such fond memories of him. He was a good man. He gave us some great help with our gardening. Thank you, Charlie.

I am so sad to read of Mr. Simpson's death. He would probably chide me for being surprised. "We all die and you'll experience it too one day, Marilyn." We were next door neighbours in Vineland Station. My brothers and I grew up with Karen and Jon and our school was next to the Horticultural Station. I remember times when we strode home together, he swinging his arms like a soldier and me trying to keep up. He always had time and patience with me, and a wonderful twinkle in his eyes when he laughed. I cherish my memories of him. My mother and brothers will want to express their condolences too when they find out. Mother and I were talking about our mutual May birthdays, Karen, and she said "I wonder how her parents are." - meaning you - and hoped that she and they could make contact.
