Obituary of Florence Heier

HEIER, Florence Kathrine - Peacefully, at Tabor Manor on Saturday, February 14, 2015, Florence Heier, aged 79 years, went to be with her Lord. Predeceased by her loving husband, John, just five weeks ago (January 7, 2015). Dear mother of Kathryn (Ken) Siemens, Lori (Brian) Hooper and Wes (Kimberly) Heier. Sister of Alyce (Victor) Hiebert, Waldo (Donna) Redekop, and Joyce Redekop-Fink. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. A Mack School of Nursing graduate-Class of '56, Florence was employed as a nurse for many years at the St.Catharines General Hospital and served as Director of Care at Tabor Manor for 16 years. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Fairview Mennonite Brethren Church, 455 Geneva St., St.Catharines on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 11:30am until 1pm followed immediately by the Memorial Service in the Church at 1 pm. If desired, memorial donations to Tabor Manor would be appreciated by the family. The family wishes to thank the staff of Tabor Manor for their excellent care.
