I will never forget seeing Uncle Henry in his tiny office in the basement completely surrounded by books, studying the bible. I will never forget his smile and laugh. I will never forget the Barbie house that he built for his daughter Bev complete with a little tiny roll of toilet paper beside a little toilet! I never left a conversation with Uncle Henry without feeling his love and God's for me! He cared about the big things and the little things. With Aunt Dorothy he created a beautiful family that is and will continue his mission. Hope you are enjoying heaven Uncle Henry - you are probably playing tennis or road hockey or something!

Henry i remember the first time I came to church and at the end of the sermon you came up to me and I said - I really liked the sermon - the lesson that darrin preached and I also told you that I really felt right in church almost like a home type feeling and since that day my life changed all for the best . Thank you and I'm gonna miss you mr. Boland you played a big part in my life turning to Jesus and like you said we are here to suffer and work hard each day - it's gonna be tough but well worth it . You are a great mentor and you will be missed , enjoy yourself now your finally home brother . Peace

Praying God's comfort to all of the family at this great loss. You were blessed with Henry as a great husband, father and grandfather. He was a good friend to many and a great man of God. He will be missed by all but has gone to a better place. May we all live in a way that will bring us all together one day.

Henry was the person who introduced my family to the bible. I can remember him coming to our house with his film strips and spending many nights studying with my parents. Henry had a true love for people, his smile and friendliness was amazing. I always felt like it was a priviledge to be invited to their house on a Sunday afternoon by Barb. Sharing a meal with them and then participating in singing around their dining room table after lunch was so special! Henry and Dorothy always had a house full, you always knew you were welcome there. I loved their rule of not answering the door or phone during meal times. Meals were to be with each other. I am sure that when Henry entered those pearly gates he was welcomed with the words "Well done good and faithful servant"

Our deepest condolences to all the family, when I think of Henry he was someone that never seemed to grow old in my eyes, from all the times he's out there playing street hockey with all us kids to just living life. It comes as a shock because I guess I never really thought of him ever getting older the times I seen him, Bless you Henry you will be missed

Prayers to the family for God's comfort and strength. Henry exemplified Christs' teaching in his life to all who had the privilege and blessing of knowing him. He was a kind, genuine man - a friend, loving husband and father. Loved sitting around the dining room table after dinner listening to him read the Bible and then ask each of us our thoughts. He encouraged us not to only listen to the "papa" but to learn and study the Bible for ourselves and to find our own path. His laughter was infectious. He was a great example to all and will be missed.

Dear Dorothy I was sorry to learn of the loss of your husband. Although we haven't been in touch for many years I do remember meeting Henry and of course I remember you. This message of remembrance to you and your family is to wish you comfort at this time. I used to live at 73 Rolls Ave, just around the corner from your home and we used to go to Victoria Public School together as well as enjoy get togethers. Best Wishes, Lily Mierzwa.

When I was a young boy at GLCC some of my fondest memories are driving to the Niagara Fallss Church with Walter and Eileen Dale and sitting in Henry's Sunday school class for the teens. He had a profound impact on my life as a teacher and strong Christian man. I will always be thankful our paths crossed. We will meet again.
