Although I never met Abe, I heard such wonderful things about him from my daughters, Melanie and Katie. They were lucky to have him in their life as a kind and caring step grandpa, and I am sorry to,hear of his death. My sincere condolences to all of the family. Patricia Wilkes.

Aunt Marg, Kathy, Janet, Mike and your families;
Karen and I would like to convey our deepest sympathies to you at this time. I have such fond memories of Uncle Abe. Memories that stretch back to early childhood and the many summer days on the farm up to the last time I had a few moments with you in January of this year. His wonderful bass singing voice is prominent in memory, with the choir and singing duets with Mom.
I feel that even the good Lord may also have had a hand in bringing us together through chance one day. My buddy (2nd cousin, Wiens side) from Leamington and I were on day 1 of a 2 week Northern Ontario motorcycle camping tour. As we were waiting for the Manitoulin Island ferry in Tobermory, who should we happen to meet also waiting for that ferry? None other than Uncle Abe and Aunt Marg on the first day of a round the Great Lakes camper trip. We parted wishing each other safe trips.
May the peace and love in Christ give you comfort at this time.
Ken and Karen Wiens
