Obituary of Marie Penner

Penner, Mary Marie (nee Klassen) - At Vineland United Mennonite Home for the Aged on Monday, July 6th, 2015, Marie Penner of Vineland, aged 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Cornelius J. Penner and dear mother of Marilyn Penner of Scarborough, Don and Kristen Penner of Waterloo, Doug Penner and Kelly Kuus of Burlington. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and their partners: Kimberly and Dylan, Angela and Ted, Sarah and Cody, and Megan and Shane. Mom had 11 brothers and sisters, and is survived by 3, living in British Columbia - Katherine, Margaret and Hank. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, and by her dear 'family' at the Vineland Home where she resided these past 11 years. We, her children, give thanks for the loving care she received there, and for the faithful friendship and support of her church, friends and neighbours. The family will receive friends at the Vineland Chapel of TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St, on Friday from 6:30 - 8:30pm. Funeral Service will be held at the Vineland U. M. Church, 3327 Menno St, on Saturday, July 11 at 11:00am. Interment will follow in the Vineland Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee.
