Just wanted to share a note of appreciation on behalf of my mom, Deleen Priddle, and our whole family for the many kind words of condolences shared about Don (Uncle Don, as I grew up calling him).
Just yesterday I picked up the telephone to call Mom to ask her if she'd like to go with me to visit Uncle Don in his senior's home...and then caught myself before completing the call. He is no longer there for us to go visit. It takes time for the reality to sink in as we let the memories remain alive and thank God that Don is in a more peaceful and comfortable place now.
If I take and share anything about Don's life, it is that life is to be cherished, appreciated, and peaceful without holding onto bitterness or anger towards anyone or anything. I never heard him speak a single word of animosity towards anyone, and a fine example he was to all of us in his tender spirit of a man.

The Priddle Family: I was sorry to see that Don had passed away. The Campney family and the Priddle family grew up beside each other in Jordan Station and shared a lot of good times. Florence spent a lot of afternoons at our place and Chet always had something out of his garden. The last time I saw Don he was at Walmart on the bench and we had a nice visit. He always asked how all our family was. Such a upbeat person he will be missed. Unfortunately we are on holidays and will miss seeing Gerry and Dorothy and their family and Vi and her son. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

Florence and I wish to express our condolences on the passing of Don.We will always have fond memories of his cheerful greeting. We recall the time when we were at the hospital we were surprised by Don coming out of the elevator on a stretcher, and greeted us with "how are you?", when we should have been asking him,how he was.

Uncle Don was always a bright part of my life. His smile has always shined at me as it does from this picture. I know Kathleen, Shelley, Margaret (nieces) and Scot (nephew) have also had this joy. His great nephew Dylan and Angus and great niece Hannah also shared in the brilliance of a smile from Uncle Don.
I will always remember the great barbecues and swims at Uncle Don's big house on hot summer days. All the Priddles there enjoying a meal together. Or the great Christmas celebrations. Whenever I would break from my play and might possibly look towards my very tall Uncle, there he was with a ready smile and a wink. He never once scolded my in all my life.
We will miss you Uncle Don

Uncle Don was a kind and gentle soul, who always seemed happy and proud of his nieces and nephew.
He was a big man with a deep voice who always seemed happy and contented.
As he aged, I grew to love him more because his resemblance to his father, my Grandfather, became more and more apparent.
I cried this morning, at the loss of such a warm human being, one of God's true humans.
I wish you peace, Uncle Don. May you be happy with your parents, your brother, and niece, Kathie, who were waiting for you in Heaven.
We will always love you and miss you!
