Obituary of Merrick (Mic) Frank

Frank, Merrick (Mic) Anthony - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Mic Frank on July 28, 2015 at McNally House. Mic is predeceased by his father Robert (2000) and brother Hewitt (2009). He is loved and will be missed by sons Cary and Calvin, their mom Liz, his mother Muriel, siblings Rob (Janie), Debbie Smeaton (Don), Ford (Marian), Grant (Connie), Lisa (the late Hewitt), Veloa Landels (Dave), and all his nieces, nephews and their children. Mic loved his work at the Vineland Research and Innovation Centre (Guelph University) and will be missed by his colleagues and friends. Music was Mic's greatest passion and he is remembered for his love of playing, singing and songwriting in bands during his early years and later around campfires with his family and his boys, both of whom have inherited his creative spirit. A Memorial Service, along with the dedication of a bench in Mic's memory, will be held at Vineland Research and Innovation Centre, 4890 Victoria Avenue N., Lincoln, ON, on Wednesday September 16, 2015 at 3:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to McNally House Hospice in Grimsby.
