As far back as I can remember Jan has always been a TERRIFIC grandfather to me. Although we are not blood related, he always treated me as his own. I am so lucky to have had him around for all my life. I will miss his loving smile and embracing bear hugs, that came with out a doubt until the end. My fondest memories will always be the endless stories he was always eager to pass on to me as the next generation.
I love you Jan and you will always be with me
