Dear Grandma,
From the time that I was born you made me feel special and I throughout my life, I felt you were always there for me. You taught me the value of moderation and frugality and the benefits of thinking before you speak. You also taught me how to make a kitchen sink sparkle. I inherited your love of gladiolas and portulacas and now my daughter loves those flowers too. We had many wonderful Christmases with great memories and I loved our long and candid conversations. I know you were not afraid of leaving the earth and that you were ready. That knowledge brings me comfort. You were the best grandma any child could wish for. Enjoy your reunion with the others up there!
