Obituary of Gladys Klaring

Klaring, Gladys May (née Willems) 1924-2015 Peacefully on September 6, 2015 Gladys passed at Southlake Hospital Newmarket Ontario in her Ninety-first year. Loving wife of Andreas Klaring (deceased), dedicated and loving mother to Andrea Klaring, son in law Harold Adams and proud Oma to her three grandchildren Rachel, Kaylin and Matthew. She will be greatly missed by her sisters, Ruth and Esther and her many nieces and nephews. Her wit, warmth, gentleness and kindness will be missed by her many friends. Growing up in the Prairies, graduating as a nurse, trekking through the jungles of New Guinea, nursing in psychiatry to raising her family and finally becoming a proud Oma to 3 grandchildren is just a small glimpse of a very full life. A celebration of Glady's life will be held at Vineland Chapel (Tallman Funeral Homes) on Thursday September 10th at 2 pm. Visitation to be held 1-2pm on Thursday Sept. 10 If you so desire a donation to the Alzheimer's Society of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
