May god be with you and your family, to give you strength and comfort during this time. One of the most memorable things I remember about your dad was how talented he was, his carvings were absolutely amazing. He was an inspiration to all of us who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Dear Mrs. Pauls, Irene, John, Anita and family.
When Heidi came home from work, she told me that Mr Pauls passed away. I was sad to hear this but also relieved for the family because I know that you husband/ dad/opa suffered a long time. I knew him well and loved him as "friend". I remember being at your house and the grandfather clock he was working on, and the detail that went into this beautiful work of art. That was many, many years ago. He inspired me greatly with the stories he told, but most of all his love for the Lord. He was a good and Godly man, and when I visited him, he tried hard not to complain. I was at least glad to see him when Anita was there. The second last time I saw him was when Irene was down here with Dan, about a month ago. It's always good to see old friends. The only person I did not see, was John, but I will see you soon.
Please accept our condolences at this time.
George and Heidi Heidebrecht.
