Obituary of Mary Gill

GILL, Mary M. (Larsh)- Passed away peacefully in her 91st year (Jan. 14, 1925 to Oct. 15, 2015). Beloved wife and best friend of William E. Gill in Vineland for over 73 years, Mother of Marilyn (Norman) Younie, Darleen (Stan) Gill-Goosen, Brenda Gill, and predeceased by Murray Gill in 1999. Grandmother to Terri-Lynn (Ted) Jovanovic, Chantelle (Bill) Sterenberg, Michael (Katie) Gill, Nina Langfield, Josie (Justin) Heath, Gill Younie, Irene Younie, Ryan (Lindsey) Kwacz, and 9 great-grandchildren. Mary's amazing opera voice and her love of music encouraged her to start the well known Garden City Productions in 1956. She made a career of teaching, both piano and voice, to many students from 1962 to 1985. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 21, 2-4 to and 7-9pm and the funeral Thursday 1:30pm both at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St. Vineland.
