Obituary of Donnie Irene Petsche

Petsche, Donnie Irene - It is with profound sadness our family announces the passing of Donnie, with her family by her side at the Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday, Jan 19, 2016 in her 78th year. Donnie was the beloved wife and best friend of Robert Petsche for 58 years. Loving mother to Keith (Gloria), Gerard, Mary-Jo Mustoe (Karl) and Jody Tucker (Bill). Proud Nana of Ryan, Alyson & Noah Petsche, Aidan, Alaric & Aries Mustoe & Great-Nana to baby Talon. Donnie worked tirelessly as the owner/operator of the Kinder Haus Daycare in Beamsville for the past 48 years. Educating and caring for children was her passion and Donnie was currently pursuing her Bachelor of Early Childhood Education at Brock University. Donnie was an avid quilter and her beautiful creations will be a lasting reminder of her amazing talent to create from the heart. Donnie always gave from the heart and asked nothing in return. She will be forever in our hearts. Family will receive friends at the Vineland Chapel of TALLMAN FUNERAL HOME , 3277 King St. on Friday, January 22, 2016 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. (Vigil prayers at 8:00 p.m.) and again on Saturday from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Helen's Church, 4106 Mountain St. Beamsville, on Monday, January 25 at 10:00 a.m. with private interment to follow at a later date. Following the service a reception will be held at the Peach King Centre, 162 Livingston Ave., Grimsby. If desired, memorial donations to Children’s Wish Foundation – Ontario Chapter, Autism Ontario or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
