Obituary of Margaret Anne Purnell

It is with a heavy heart we share this news. Margaret Anne Purnell, 77, of Vineland, Ontario, passed away suddenly, yet peacefully on March 7, 2024, at the St. Catharines General Hospital. 

She was born on October 31, 1946, to Victor and Florence Cullum in Mitcham, London, England. Margaret married Barry Purnell on June 28, 1969, and they had two children, David and Michael.

She was an avid gardener, loved researching and sharing findings about her family tree and was always willing to help with everyone’s sewing needs.

Margaret Purnell is survived by her loving husband Barry, children David (Rosa), Michael (Jennifer), grandchildren Liam, Samantha, Joshua and by her brother Alan (Elsie). She was preceded in death by her dad and mum, Victor and Florence, and her brother John. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 23 from 4:00-6:00pm at the Tallman Funeral Home, Fireside Room located at 3277 King St., Vineland On, LOR 2C0.

A private funeral service will take place at a later date in Burlington, Ontario to allow Margaret to be beside her mum and dad.
