Obituary of Joan Marilyn Ceaser

Joan Marilyn Ceaser of Beamsville, Ontario, passed away peacefully on March 11th, 2024, at the age of 88, surrounded by the love of her family at West Lincoln Hospital in Grimsby, Ontario. Her passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to have known her in many of the various communities and organizations in which she participated.

Per her expressed wishes, Joan's family honored her with a private interment at Queens Lawn Cemetery in Grimsby on March 15th. While no formal funeral service was conducted, the quiet dignity of this intimate family gathering reflected Joan's preference for simplicity and closeness among her loved ones.

Throughout her life, Joan's strong independent spirit and unwavering dedication enriched countless people, communities, and organizations. Her tireless efforts and compassion touched the lives of many, leaving a mark on those she encountered. Whether imparting knowledge as an esteemed educator, lending her voice to the harmony of her church choir, serenading audiences with her saxophone in various bands, embarking on adventures to all seven continents across the globe, or engaging in lively discussions in her book club, Joan's presence illuminated the world around her.
