Obituary of Jack Lemieux

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of the best husband, father, brother, uncle, neighbour and friend, Jacques “Jack” Arthur Lemieux on March 16, 2024 at the age of 79.

Loving and devoted husband to Alice for 57 years.  Forever the hero to his daughters and son in laws, Laura and Dale, Melinda and David.  Best big brother to Real, Roger, Monique, Micheline, Guy, Francoise, and Diane.  Predeceased by parents Laval (d.1993) Gabrielle (d. 2010), brother John (d. 2014) and sister Ghislaine (d.2015). Sadly, missed and lovingly remembered by his several cherished sister in laws, brother in laws, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Jack was a hard-working man who had a generous and giving heart, always helping others and never wanting anything in return.  He is perhaps best known for his never-ending handshake, unconditional love, and pure kindness.  He enjoyed everyday and was a strong provider for his family whom he loved dearly and devoted his life to. 

Sincere thanks and gratitude to Dr. Santino DePetrillo and Dr. Fatima Merali for their exceptional care of dad and his heart over the years. Extended thanks to the Niagara West Palliative Care Team, we appreciate all you do!

Visitation will be held at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes (3277 King St., Vineland) on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 5-8pm.  Private family service will take place.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Lincoln Community Care would be appreciated.
