I was blessed to know Mark. He lit up the room, was charismatic, loved his career, had class, was caring, attentive and an excellent conversationalist where the listener would never get bored. He used to say, 'it's best to be celebrated, not tolerated'.

Mark was a competent musician. Beautiful voice and piano skills. He knew how to laugh and enjoy life. At work he knew how to engage his students and used his witty humour and big smile.

Despite all his talent, he and I used to Netflix binge. Mark knew how to take advantage of necessary downtime and he had great barbecuing skills. Anyone who had dinner at his house would know! Such beautiful fond memories I will carry with me always.

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your Father. Mark had a love of music and camping. I will remember watching him play keyboard and the fun time camping in Tobermory. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
