Obituary of Dora Katie Fisch Willms

On the morning of April 25, 2024, Dora Fisch Willms went into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is reunited with her parents, Henry and Anna, her sisters, Agnes Amalie (Molly) and Ella, and her brothers Henry and Helmut.

Dora was born in Namaka, Alberta on June 30, 1937. At a young age her family moved to Niagara where she lived most of her life. She was an amazing musician and music teacher. Dora graduated with the highest honors from the Royal Conservatory of Music and became Eden Christian College’s music and chorale conductor throughout the 1980s into the early 1990s. She loved music and teaching music to young people. Introducing music to her students and seeing them grow in their musical abilities brought her great joy. Dora loved a good conversation, a vigorous walk in the morning, and her daily devotions. Her steadfast faith in Christ gave her strength through many difficult times.

She leaves behind her children David, Doris, Timothy (Kristen), and grandchildren Grace, Julianna, Joshua, and Lily. She will be missed by her family and friends that knew and loved her.
