Katherine was a skilled and active volunteer at Grace Mennonite Church (St. Catharines) and within the broader Mennonite community. Katherine was an excellent seamstress, avid gardener, amazing organizer, wonderful cook, and with Jacob, an enthusiastic world traveller. She was the adoring Oma of Jessica Peters (Cyprian), Jake Hildebrand (Stevey), Natalia Doerksen (Ryan), Jamie Hildebrand (Aley), Joshua Dyck, Kate Robinson and Graham Hildebrand. She was thrilled to be a great Oma to Evan, Sydney, Noa and Theodore.
