Obituary of Dianne Christine Edwards

Dianne Christine (Newport) Edwards, aged 65, of Vineland, Ontario, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 28, 2024.

Born on June 30, 1958 in Hamilton to parents Frank and Christine Newport. Dianne was full of life and enjoyed travelling, shopping, swimming and watching her 3 grandchildren grow. Dianne worked a fulfilling career as an Executive Assistant at Dofasco for 42 years. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, bravery, fierceness and chatty nature.

Dianne is survived by her loving husband Robb of nearly 46 years, children Colin (Hannah), Patrick (Nikole) and Drew (Robbie), grandkids Nolan, Claire and Nyah, her siblings Pam (John), Kay (Al), Marg (Keith), Chris (Beth), Tony (Janice), Frankie (Henry), Phil (Pam), John (Mira), and in-laws Beth and Ian. She is predeceased by parents Frank and Christine, brother Jim, father-in-law Fred, mother-in-law Eleanor and in-laws Jack (Carol), Georgina, Peter (Debbie), Bill, Nancy. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St., Vineland on Thursday June 6, 2024, at 1pm with a gathering to celebrate Dianne shortly after. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre Foundation or a charity of your choice.
