As a neighbour of Mr. Penner (down the road a few blocks on Glen Park Rd.) I recall seeing him drive by from time to time in the summer in an older model car. He'd always have a smile on his face and at least one passenger (sometimes more) enjoying the ride as well. As he passed me as I was mowing the lawn or raking leaves he'd toot the horn which made a very original sound.
More recently at Tabor Manor it was good to see Mr. and Mrs. Penner enjoying the services and music together in the Great Room. They'd always both have a smile for me.
Mr. Penner is now spending his first Christmas in Heaven where the music and celebration of seeing Jesus face to face is ongoing for eternity!
Regards,
Rodney Loewen

We add our condolences to others on Dave's passing. We knew him as an elder cousin and always warm-hearted, friendly man, a man of faith and conviction. He has left a good legacy which will continue its blessing in the generations to come. We will remember him with much fondness.

Wayne, Dennis, Don, and Cyndi: I remember you all as students at Eden. In the midst of processing that your dad is no longer here, may you find joy in knowing that he is with his Father who has been waiting to show Himself to another of His sons.
