Obituary of Keith Pullin

Pullin, Keith - It is with deep sadness that the family of Keith Pullin announce his passing on Monday December 26, at Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital. Keith leaves his wife Merna (Robins) of 51 years, son Doug (Talin) and daughter Robin (Marc Ackert), grand children Liam Doyle, Ian, Nadine, George, Jillian, Maggie and Alexia Ackert. He is also survived by brother Ken (Sally Stewart), and nieces Jennifer (John) Donato and family and Krisitin (James) Wilms and family. Keith was a science and phys ed teacher at Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School for 31 years, retiring in 1996. During his career he was active in many extra curricular activities. He was a life long member of Knox Presbyterian Church, serving as an elder for 47 years. In retirement he became a member of Friendship Force Niagara visiting and hosting many people from around the world. He enjoyed volunteering at Morningstar Mill and guiding visitors around the grounds. He was also a member of Probus North. We would like to say thanks to the staff in the telemetry unit at the St. Catharines General Hospital and 2nd floor west staff of the Hotel Dieu Shaver for the excellent care Keith received over the past several months. The journey we have been on was made easier by the care and kindness you have shown. A special thank you to friends and neighbours for your wonderful support over the past several months. The little things have meant so much. Visitation will take place at Tallman Funeral Home, 3277 King St. Vineland on Thursday December 29 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 8:30 p.m. with service at Knox Presbyterian Church on Friday, December 30 at 11:00 am. Interment at Rockway Cemetery. Memorial donations to Knox Presbyterian Church or Hotel Dieu Shaver.
