Obituary of William Arthur Gibson

Gibson, William A. - At the Burloak Long Term Care Centre in Burlington on Wednesday, January 11, 2017. Bill Gibson aged 91 years. Husband of the late Marion Grace Fawell (2003) and dear father of Mark (Janice) of Burlington and Wayne of Welland. Predeceased by a son Craig (1990). Also survived by 5 grandsons, Ryan, Michael, Christopher, Colin and Graham, as well as 4 great grandchildren. Bill was a veteran of WWII serving with the R.C.A.F. He had worked for General Motors retiring in 1984, and was a member of Ivy Lodge 115 and the United Church. The family will receive friends at the Vineland Chapel of the Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King Street for one hour prior to the memorial service that will be on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
