Obituary of Evelyn Funk

FUNK, Evelyn Mary (nee Flegg) - Peacefully at Portal Village Retirement Home, Port Colborne on Thursday, July 18, 2013. Born October 9, 1924, having missed her beloved husband John since 1994, she is now reunited with loved ones and first-born infant son Philip (1948) and dear grandson David. She will be fondly remembered by children, Robert (Sandra) Honduras, Louise (Jabe) Nicholson (MS), Elaine (Bruce) MacKinnon of St.Catharines, Colin (Lena) Kingston, Carolyn (Glen) Garrow (FL). Greatly missed by grandchildren, James, John, Beth, Moira, Sharon, Andrea, David, Sara, Malcolm, Filip, Sofia, Laura, Heather and great-grandchildren, Sydney, Maggie, Janey, BJ, Andy, Ethan, Josh and Zachary. A special thanks to the staff at Portal Village and Dr.Rungi. Resting at the VINELAND CHAPEL of the TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 21 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Service at 11 am on Monday, July 22 in the Chapel. Interment at Niagara Lake Shore Cemetery.
