Obituary of Ross Allen

ALLEN, Ross Walker – Born August 24, 1924 in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia but had lived at RR 2, St. Anns for 40 years. He was a WWII Veteran. Peacefully, surrounded by his family at Albright Manor in Beamsville on Sunday, January 29, 2017, aged 92 years. Husband of the late Adeline Marie Allen (1987). Loving and caring father of Brenda (Kerry) Larmet of North Pelham, Sheldon (Bethany) Harris of Gravenhurst, Judy (Jim) Ferris of St. Catharines and Ross (Cathy) Allen of St. Anns. Grandfather of Kim (Glenn) Harrison, Rick (Margaret) Larmet, Amy (Andrew) Joyner, Ryan (Tricia) Allen, Preston Allen, Corine Allen, Christopher Harris, Colin Harris and Alicia (Beau) Ferris and great grandfather of 12. Predeceased by a brother Ray Allen and sister, Elizabeth Newell. The family will receive friends at the VINELAND CHAPEL of the TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St. on Wednesday, February 1st. with visitation beginning at 10 am followed by the funeral service in the chapel at 11 am. A reception will follow in the Tallman Fireside Room. Interment at Mount Osborne Cemetery, Beamsville. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Albright Foundation.
