Obituary of Susanna Schroeder

Schroeder, Susanna (nee Penner) – Flying with the angels and dancing with the stars, Susanna is finally free from pain and watching from above. On Saturday March 18, 2017, at the St. Catharines Hospital, in her 80th year, and with all of her family beside her, Susanna left this earth and made her way to Heaven. Broken hearted, she leaves behind Heinz Schroeder, her devoted husband of almost 58 years, and 4 children, Michael (Cathy), Frank (Kim), Laura (Gerry) and Tim. Her greatest joy was found in her grandchildren, Rebecca, Bonnie, Douglas, Steven (Kristen), Julia, Jessica, Jaclyn, Jillian, Sarah and Parker, and that special sparkle in her eyes came from Makenna, her great grandchild. A private family interment will take place at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery, prior to a celebration of Susanna’s life at the Niagara United Mennonite Church, 1775 Niagara Stone Rd, Niagara-on-the-Lake, on Thursday, March 23 at 2 pm where all family and friends will be welcome. If desired, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
