Sarah (whom I've not had a chance to meet), Wayne, Janet, and Blair - my deepest condolences. Grant was such a wonderful person and my life has been much richer for having grown up with him.
Despite not having seen Grant in years, I've kept up to date with the wonderful life he created, his great successes, and his beautiful children. It is tragically unfair we've all been deprived of such a kind soul.
Much love,
Mike

Wow. You really know how to wake a guy up. Even from afar. As I try to write this, I can't help but think of all the things we did as kids. Never did I think I'd be writing this so soon.
Oh man.... we grew apart and you kept me at a distance that was close enough to chat and stay In touch. Over the last couple years we seemed to connect better. I wish it was sooner. We were just chatting about pulling the summer toys out - yer silver bullet as you called it.
No one knows why the guy in the sky calls and takes us back. Never are we giving reasons. But he needed you more.
To Sarah, you were his rock and he will protect you and your children from above.
To Wayne, Janet and Blair I'm am so sorry for your loss. He was a great man, husband, father, and protector.
He will be forever missed by many.
Until we meet again my friend,
Much love and respect to the Sargeant Family,
Pauly.

I'm so sorry Sarah, Logan and Noah about the sudden loss of your husband and dad. He was one of the greatest men i ever came across and i know he will be deeply missed. I came to know Grant and the family having watched Noah and Logan(in the summer) in my daycare for over 3 yrs. He was always happy and friendly and we talked hockey and he sure loved his Blue Jays. He would text me every time CNN had a breaking story on plane crashes or terrorist attacks. He was an amazing father, husband, brother and son. My sincere condolences to your entire family Sarah. You guys are all in my thoughts :(.

To Janet, Wayne and Blair, Sarah, Logan and Noah,
We are stunned by the sudden loss of such a young, strong man like Grant who we have known since he was born. As Wayne said, " Life is not always fair." Grant and Blair played with our kids as they grew up. We have been proud to know Grant and even prouder to watch him get married to Sarah and to see the way he related to his other two loves, Logan and Noah. Grant always greeted us with a big friendly smile, just like his parents.
Grant will be missed by many who knew him and we hope that his two sons will grow up to be be as nice as their father. God bless..........Chris and Ken Graham

My deepest condolences to Grant's family and friends in this time of sorrow. I am thinking of all of you and will have Grant as well as all of you in my thoughts. I wish I could be home to show my support and pay my respects however I will be holding a moment of silence on Tuesday and on Wednesday in what I can only hope will be a small but meaningful homage to Grant. I hope that the memories of love, laughter and joy will help ease the tremendous loss of a lovely soul.
