Bobby and Jackie, I was surprised and saddened to hear of the death of your dad. He was a good friend to my husband and myself. Rob drove my husband Bill to Las Vegas for New Years Eve and they had a good time on their road trip. Nancy and I flew to Vegas later and joined them there. Rob, Nancy and I enjoyed the hot tub outside which was steaming while the air was cold and we needed our winter coats on. The three of us ran from the hot tub to the entrance for the pool area wrapped in towels. We were freezing but had a great time. Rob and Nancy flew back home and I stayed with Bill in California.
Rob and Nancy were neighbours that stopped in after the funeral to see how all of us were doing. Rob left vegetables from his garden on the front veranda which Amanda and I found after we got up and ready to leave the house.
He advised us on how to wash the car properly and even brought over a cleaner to scrub the white walls and they looked like new. He and Bill spent time in the bedroom watching TV and chatting. Sometimes your dog cookie came over with him.
Sorry for your loss but I know you both have lots of great memories of your dad.
