Obituary of William Horton Farrell

Farrell, William (Bill) Horton –  With family by his side, he passed peacefully on his 91st birthday June 21, 2017. He was the beloved husband and friend of Joyce Anita Farrell (nee Feir) for 66 years. A loving father to Wayne Farrell (Jenni), Darlene Koudys, Marilyn Boyd, Terry Farrell (Diana) and Jo-Anne Brunner (George) and a loving grandfather to his 8 grandchildren and his 6 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his mother, Catherine Sweet (nee Farrell). He was also predeceased by his baby brother Gary Sweet and his aunt Gertie Irvine (nee Farrell). He will also be missed by Don Feir (Ann), his brother-in-law, and Marg Feir, his sister-in-law, Vaughn Simpson, brother-in-law, and many other relatives. 
Cremation has taken place.
The family will receive friends at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes (3277 King St.,) on Wednesday June 28, 2017 from 10-11am with a memorial service starting at 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice. A big thank you to all the amazing caregivers, and PSW’s and nurses at Hamilton Health Services in Grimsby, as well as the excellent staff at The Carlisle Retirement Residence.
