Obituary of George Norman Cowan

Cowan, George – At the United Mennonite Home in Vineland on Thursday, July 13, 2017 George Cowan of Grimsby aged 82 years.  Beloved husband of Daryl for 52 years.  Dear father of Donald of Beamsville and Robert (Pamela) of Lexington, Kentucky.  Predeceased by daughter Beverley.  Loving grandfather of Kyle Miller, Shannon Cowden, James Cowan and Cassie Cowan.  Predeceased by his sister Peggy Hutchinson.  Uncle of John (Deborah) Hutchinson, Danielle (Sandy) Kligman and Drew (Danielle) Warkentin.  Brother-in-law of George and Donna Warkentin.  Also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
Cremation.  Friends will be received at Glenridge Bible Church, 310 Scott St., St. Catharines on Monday from 6–9 pm.  The memorial service will be in the church on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 11:00 am.  If desired, memorial donations may be made to Grimsby Lincoln Community Living.  A special thanks to Dr. James Woodland and the staff at the United Mennonite Home for excellent care.
