Obituary of Ronald Hendriks

HENDRIKS, Ron - Peacefully and in faith, at his home surrounded by his family, on Thursday August 15, 2013, aged 52 years. Devoted dearly loved husband of 27 years of Yvonne (nee Huibers). Very proud father of Darren (Amy), Kevin, Bradley and Rhiana. Beloved son of Arnold & Barbara Hendriks. Brother of Caroline (Marcel) Van Ruyven, Fred (Cindy), Mike (Kathy), Gerald (Sue), James (Joyce). Ron was president of Homes By Hendriks Inc. Ron's most cherished moments were spent with family. His favourite hobbies included, camping, sailing, skiing and scuba diving. Ron fought a courageous battle against cancer with the support of Dr. Torres, Dr. Whitton and the staff at Juravinski Cancer Centre, the Para Med staff, Dr. Manjos and his loving family and friends. The family will receive friends at the VINELAND CHAPEL of TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St., Vineland, on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday August 19 at 11am at St. Joseph's Church, 135 Livingston St., Grimsby, with Rite of Committal following at Mount Osborne Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to Wells Of Hope would be appreciated by the family.
