Dear Jansen family,
Deepest condolences to all of you. Our families grew up together in Woodland School, both in the Home and School Association, and in the classrooms. Reading the life story here brought back so many memories of both our families being farmers trying to make it go. May your family memories bring you comfort as you say good-bye to Ben.
Thinking of you,
Martha Fransen and family

To all the Ben Jansen family....We were saddened to hear of Ben's passing. Ben was a quiet and friendly person. We got to know him and Marg better when we moved to Simons lane and became their neighbors. We would go out for Fridays supper to Sawmill Golf Course enjoying the conversation ,often about their farm and the process of dividing the property, due to the 406 coming through.
We have many good memories of those times.
Our sincere condolences to all of you.

Dear Children of Ben, and also a hello to my cousin Margaret,
We just want to share our sincerest condolences regarding Ben's passing. I always enjoyed going to your family farm, and I remember packing peaches with your Mom.
We laughed a lot, and probably ate more than our share of peaches.
We will remember you in our prayers. ,and we are sorry that we can't be at the funeral due to previous commitments here in Chatham.
Sincerely, Hedy(Koop) Rempel and Ed.
Hedy is the daughter of Jacob and Hilda Koop. Margaret is my first cousin.

This was a man full of love for his family and talked about them often. Faith that encouraged us all. Light hearted and ready for a good laugh. I will miss you Ben, so very much.

Dear Marg. and family all . WE wish to express our sincere condolences to you all, at the passing of a wonderful man. He served so well , was always a friend to everyone , and his such pleasant continuous contageous smile always made one feel like a close friend . We remember the trip to Siberia with you, in 2006 , so well , and our many friends, and friends he made , in the many villages we visited remember as well, and so often mention "Br. Ben Jansen,---- and how they are doing" Now we will have to say "He moved on to Glory". May God grant you all peace and comfort as you remember a good Father ,Brother ,Friend and Servant , in so many ways . He reminds us so well of Psalm 139:14 " I will praise Thee for I am fearfully and wonderfully made,-- marvellous are Thy works .......... "
