Obituary of Joanne Maecker

Maecker, Joanne Wendy (Bruinekool) - On October 20, 2017, in her 58th year; Joanne went to be with her Lord; whom she loved and served.  Joanne leaves behind her beloved husband, Richard Maecker and her children, who she cherished; Mark & Michelle.  Joanne's siblings loved her dearly.  She was a huge part of their lives; Ineka & Bill Nieuwenhuyzen, Marietta & Garry Postma, Hank Bruinekool (passed away 6 weeks ago), Elsie & Ralph Slingerland, Nancy & Rob Sinke, Brian & Jolande Bruinekool.  Joanne was predeceased by her parents, Bill & Jenny Bruinekool.  Joanne is survived by her father and mother-in-law Ray & Judy Maecker and her brothers-in-law adn sisters-in-law - Jonathan & Trish Maecker, Chris & Christine Maecker.  Joanne and her husband Richard were both employees at the Welland General Hospital of the Niagara Health System.  Her fellow nurses and doctors will miss her greatly.

Visitation will take place on Monday, October 23, 2-4 & 7-9p.m. at the Vineland Free Reformed Church, 3685 King St., Vineland, with funeral service in the church on Tuesday, October 24 at 11:00a.m.  Burial will follow at the Vineland Cemetery.  If desired, memorial donations may be made to elishahouse.on.ca.
