Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Hosegrove

Hosegrove, Mary Elizabeth - It is with sadness that we share the passing of Mary Elizabeth Hosegrove (Marwick) on November 1st in her 95th year.

Mary earned her RN with great pride in Sarnia in 1950 and spent the rest of her life helping others, even when she retired. Owning Ingleside Nursing Home with her husband Jim was her greatest joy. Mary finished up her career at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby but continued to give “advice” to the staff at the United Mennonite Home where she resided with a great smile and spirit.

Predeceased by her siblings, David, John, Larry & Bob, & Agnes, husband Jim and daughter Wendy.  Dearly missed by her sisters Annabelle(Bruce) Jameson and Ruth(Omer) Round and by her daughter Karen Davis (Hugh Sawyer) and grandchildren Taylor(Lindsay), Megan(Matt), and Kyle(Nicole).

Thanks to the staff at the United Mennonite Home for their amazing care and special thanks to her "angels" Suzanne & Cathy. Cremation has taken place.

Visitation will be held at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St., on Friday November 10th from 6-8:30 pm & Nov11th 10:30-11:30 am with Memorial Service to follow at 12noon.
