Obituary of George Wesley Anning

ANNING, George Wesley – It is with great sadness that the family of Wes Anning announces his passing early Monday morning, November 20th in his 101st year. He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Anne Anning (nee McLeod). Dad will be deeply missed by his daughters Anne Garnett and Lynn Currie (Bill), his grandchildren Leanne (Stephen) James, Kevin (Melanie) Garnett, Michael (Audra) Currie, Braeydyn Currie, Ryan Currie, and his great-grandchildren Joshua and Adam James. He is also survived by two younger brothers Don Anning of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and Clair Anning of Cambridge, Ontario.

The family will receive friends at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St., on Wednesday, November 22 from 7-8:30p.m. and Thursday, November 23 beginning at 10 am with the service in the Chapel at 11 am. A luncheon in the Tallman Fireside Room will follow. If desired, memorial donations to the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto (sickkids.ca) or redcross.ca would be appreciated by the family.
