Obituary of Sylvia Janzen-Durksen

Janzen-Durksen, Sylvia - With her family and husband Henry Durksen by her side, Sylvia was called to be with her Lord and Saviour on December 17, 2017 after a three year battle with cancer. Sylvia leaves behind her husband Henry Durksen, sons Jodi Janzen (Wendy), Jamie Janzen (Tina), grandchildren, Kaylee, Lucas,Sadie, Isaac, Hunter, Kayla, Ryder, Matthew, Rebecca, step children Holly and Rory Tycoles, Bill Durksen, numerous nieces, nephews, brother and sister in laws and was especially fond of her sisters daughter Cathy Karkcus. Sylvia is predeceased by her first husband Peter Janzen, mother and father John and Katalin Kiss, sister Cathy Gubo, mother and father in law Erna and Cornelius Janzen, and brother in law Frank Janzen.  

The family will accept visitors on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St. Vineland from 2-4p.m. and 6-8p.m.  A celebration of life ceremony will be held Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 1p.m, at Southridge Community Church, 201 Glenridge Ave., St. Catharines.
