Obituary of Herbert Arthur Morrison

Morrison, Herbert Arthur — Peacefully at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital on Jan. 13, 2018, in his 94th year.  Beloved husband of Mona (Eller) for 67 years.  Loving father of Jim (Maureen), Patricia (John McKenzie), and Tom (Julie); caring Papa of Brian, Dawn (Sam), Allison (Jon), Philip (Whitney), Erik (Lesli), and Hailey (Charlie); and great-grandfather of James and Isaac.

Herb was a lifelong grape grower, resident of Jordan, and member of St. John’s Anglican Church.  He was a founding member of the Jordan Lions Club, recipient of The Hellen Keller Fellowship for service to others, and the Melvin Jones Fellowship for dedicated humanitarian services to his community.

Family will receive friends on Monday, January 15 from 6 – 8pm at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St. Funeral service at St. Johns Anglican Church, McKenzie Drive, Jordan on Tuesday at 2pm.  Interment to follow at St. John’s Cemetery.  If desired, memorial donations may be made to Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides.  www.dogguides.com
