Dear Family of Johann Klassen. My sister Hilda sent me the bulletin of John's memorial service. I wish I could have been there. I last saw Johann at our cousin reunion last May/June when I visited Ontario. (I live in Abbotsford, BC) John, as we called him, is in the presence of our Saviour and Lord Jesus, together with my Peter and many other loved ones. I love to think of all the saints of the ages that we will meet in heaven. May we all be prepared when our time comes. I am sorry that I don't know the family except for your mother, Katie. However, I do remember visiting your home on one of our furloughs and meeting some of you. May the Lord encourage and bless as your memories of your father/grandfather, uncle, etc. come to you. Sometimes you will laugh and sometimes you will cry. But you will each grieve in some way. Praying for your, Mary Derksen

We would like to send our condolences to Johann's whole family. As a childhood friend of Harry Klassen, I spent many days, had many sleepovers, and many dinners at the Klassens as a child and growing up. Johann reflected the image of God our father in every day life. Now as God has taken him home, we pray that God will give you peace as we celebrate Johann's life and his everlasting life with his heavenly father.

Your father and Opa was a wonderful man. With a sharp wit, and good sense of humour, he showed everyone in the church that he cared very much about Jesus His Saviour. May he rest in peace.

To the family of Johann Klassen, Your father, grandfather, brother - has reached his eternal home. May that thought comfort your hearts as you grieve your loss. The last time I saw John was at our cousin reunion in May, 2017. I also have good memories of his loving wife, Katie, and meeting some of the children.
