I was completely brokenhearted to hear of my brother, Wally's sudden death-- especially since we had not spoken for a number of years. It's sad when family decides to alienate family and then find out that they had died through a third party. Ironically, our mother had been in hospital for 3 and a half weeks, extremely ill, and discharged the day before Wally passed away. Although the family was notified of our mother's severe state of health, sadly no one came to see her. Fortunately, she turned a corner and survived. However, with the sad news that her only son had passed away, she is now in not able to function and may also pass away.
Also, I found out through his obit that my niece, his daughter Crystal had died almost two years ago, and he and his family did not even let us know.
These times are heartbreaking, but I hope he died happy having his great-granddaughter there when he passed and his great, great grandsons with him that day.
Rest in peace, my dear brother, Waldusz, I will always love you, will think of you and will be sad that I will not have the chance to see you again. I will always remember us when we were children together and how close we were.
Your loving sister, Helena
