Obituary of Agnes Martens

Martens, Agnes – Peacefully at her home at Pleasant Manor on Friday, February 16, 2018 at the age of 95 years.  Beloved wife of the late Bill Martens (2004) and dear mother of Vic Martens, Ed (Becky) Martens and Cathy (Paul) DeBon all of Niagara-on-the-Lake.  Loved oma of Whitney, Billy, Daniel and Rachel.  Sister of Eduard Penner and Margaret Kroeger both of Germany.  Predeceased by sisters Minnie Penner and Katie Dick.  Best friend of Jessie Bartel.  Our heartfelt thanks to Pleasant Manor for all the care and support they have given to our mother. 

Visitation will be at Bethany Mennonite Church, East West Line, Niagara-on-the-Lake on Wednesday from 6 – 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 – 11 a.m.  The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m.  Interment to follow at Niagara Lake Shore Cemetery.  If desired, memorial donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee.
