Margarete Suske was a very special lady. I fondly remember some of our talks. As much as she was quiet at times, there was a lot going on inside her head. She was able to express herself and show emotion when she wanted to and her determination came when she felt like showing it! She had good sense of humor and a fine detailed recollection of the past. There was more clarity than what met the eye. Margarete was so proud of her grand children and great grand babies. Her appreciation for anything that was done for her was always evident. I felt a special bond with her. We both shared the joy of cooking and often compared what we liked to make. There was a comfort level and also an endearing connection. I've cried some tears for her and feel that her life was snuffed out too quickly since my last visit. She will always be remembered and those memories will be cherished. Love to you Margarete.
