Dear Margaret, Bill, Paul, Karin, your spouses and your children. I am so sorry about the loss of your mom/Grandmother/ Great Grandmother. She was such a special person and I'm so glad that I was able to get to know her a bit more again in the last number of years after I moved to Vineland/Jordan and I was once again a part of the Dyck Holiday celebration get-togethers with my mom. It was only this past spring when we were together at Susan's and she was there celebrating with us and participating as well as anyone. I didn't think that would be the last time I would see her. It is difficult for us to handle when death comes quickly, but as with my mom, it is a gift when a loved one can enjoy living so close to the time when they die, and that any suffering does not last long. I will always remember her soft spoken, sincere conversations with a gentle hold on my hand or arm. Celebrate the memories and the strong yet gentle, independent, wonderful woman who was your mother.
