Obituary of Hugo Sly

Hugo Alfredo Sly - Oct 28, 1936 - Oct 28, 2013 Following a brief illness after suffering a stroke, Hugo passed from this world into the next on Oct 28, 2013. Predeceased by his parents Laurenzo and Angela Sly, and his wife Wilhelmina. Loved brother of Gladys (Chichi) Anton and Hector (Pico) and wife Laura of Argentina. Loved step father of Wilhelmina (Peg) and husband John Peatfield and Carolyn (Caron) and husband Frank Edwards. Hugo will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Brandi (Chris) Marcy and Kyle Edwards and great grandchildren Logan and Lily as well as nieces and nephew Patricia, Marina, Adrian, Florencia and their families. He will also be missed by his loving companion June Fenton. His greatest love in life was his family and his friends. Hugo brought a smile to everyone who met him with his sense of humour and his stories. He was a long time employee of Wabco and Court Valve. Many thanks to the staff at Joseph Brant Hospital and The Carpenter Hospice for their care and compassion. Visitation will be at the Beamsville Chapel of Tallman Funeral Home 4998 King St. Beamsville on Wednesay Oct 30, 2013 from 7 till 9 p.m. Service to celebrate his life will be held at St. Alban's Anglican Church at 4341 Ontario St. Beamsville Friday, Nov 1, 2013, 10:30 a.m.
