My condolences to the family of Mike Uzelac. Shock and sadness this morning in finding out that Mike was ill and has passed. We worked together in the sheet mill for years until. Mike was transferred. But he left his kindness and generosity behind. A tall man with a big heart, always smiling, laughing, making you realize that you could make any day a better day by being a nice person toward people. My daughters are also saddened by his passing. Mike met my daughters once as children and they remember the tall happy man that he was. Riding his motorcycle from Beamsville, to help a friend fix his computer, and sitting down for 2 hrs in a chair, while my daughters braided his hair. When done mike gingerly put his helmet on and laughed. This is the Mike Uzelac I will always remember, a kind caring person who appreciated the simple things in life, but friendship being the most important. Thanks Mike for the nice memories

So sorry to hear about the loss of Mike. We got to know Mike through baseball, BBQ's and bonfires. Our girls remember him as Motorcycle Michael. We'll remember his laugh and his contagious smile. Our thoughts are with the family. When you are sorrowful look again in your heart and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.
