Obituary of Ella Dick

Dick, Ella Louise - Peacefully at her home on Sunday, November 17th, surrounded by her family & friends celebrating Christmas, 63rd wedding anniversary, and her 84th birthday, Ella Dick (nee Willms) faithful wife of David Dick for nearly 63 years. Dear mother of David (Terri), Greg (Linda), Marilyn (Gerry) Redekop, and Jonathon. Oma to David Charles, Patricia (Andrew), Stephen (Louise), John (Evelyn), Jennifer (Gerry), Greg (Rachel), Sherri (Steve), Michael, Rob (Sarah), Kristen (Anton), Melissa, Madeleine, Isabelle, and Sophia and 13 great grandchildren. Sister of Amalie and Dora. Predeceased by a brother Henry. Ella was known for her strong, Christian, child-like faith expressed through her music. She dedicated much time and energy teaching local children love of music via children's choirs and hand-bell choirs supporting International Child Care in Haiti. The family will receive friends at Bethany Mennonite Church, corner of Creek Rd. and East West Line, Niagara-on-the-Lake on Wednesday, November 20, 6:30-8:30pm. Funeral Service in the church on Thursday at 11:00am preceded by interment at Niagara Lake Shore Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to International Child Care would be appreciated.
