Obituary of Hendrik Ormel

Ormel, Hendrik (Hank) - Peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Monday, December 2, 2013, the Lord called home Hank Ormel, aged 82 years. Beloved husband of Gerda and dear father of Henry & Donna, Joanne & Bill Charlton, Margo (1990), Dick & Liz, Janet & Eric (2011) Koopman, Bob & Carole, Ray & Liz Hill and Shari Hill. Also survived by a sister Trudy Ormel and by 22 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers Gerrit, Theo, Ben, Johan and Jan. The family will receive friends at Trinity United Reformed Church, 99 Scott St., St. Catharines on Thursday, December 5 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 8:30pm. Interment will take place in Vineland Cemetery prior to the memorial service at the church on Friday at 11:00am. If desired, donations to Beacon Christian School or Heritage Christian School would be appreciated.
