Obituary of Douglas Book

BOOK, Douglas H. - At Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday, December 10th, Doug Book of Smithville, aged 83 years. Son of the late Mabel & Victor Book. Beloved husband of Beverley for 60 years. Dear father of Larry Book and William Book (Maryann). Brother of Joan Hyslop (Ralph) and Bruce Book (Gay). Grandfather of Tamiko Semple (Bill), Dustin Book (Jackleen), Amanda Book (Paul), Corey Book, Jasmin Book, and Leah Book. Great Grandfather of Isabella Semple and Megan Book. Doug hauled cattle for farmers to Toronto for many years. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the VINELAND CHAPEL of TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St. Vineland on Friday, December 13th from 7-8:30pm. Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, December 14th at 11 am with a reception to follow in the Tallman Fireside Room.
