I have fond memories have Howie. I worked with him in Smithville Yard. I ran the wing for him in the snow plow. Howie always showed compassion and was a very experienced truck driver. I learned alot from him in the field. He always had good tips for me. He had a very funny sence of humor and always enjoyed a good laugh. He was a good friend to his co-workers and will be missed. He is a work brother I had the pleasure to know. He always talked very highly of his wife and kids even when times were tough. He was a great father to his sons and from what I remember loved to make their lives happy with boyscouts, christmas's and birthdays. Howie was a good story teller too. His voice would go up and down in tone when he told you a story. Oh and his dogs!!! A real dog lover. We talked alot about our dogs together. He would tell me something his dog did to disrupt Cathy or the boys and he would laugh so hard. A good fellow, The pain is over Howie!!! REST IN PEACE
