Obituary of William (Bill) Sturk

STURK, William Laird (July 10, 1957 - February 12, 2014) - It is with heavy hearts we have lost such a wonderful man. I finally found the man that completed me. He left behind his loving wife Denise, daughters, Lindsey Sturk Wyszynski (Kyle) and Cassandra Sturk (Simon). Son of the late Doreen Sturk (nee Lunt) and Laird Sturk (Pat). Brother of Dan (Saira), Mike (Lynne), Kathy, Wendy, Tom, Tim (Helen), Darryl (Jennifer). Also survived by many nieces and nephews; predeceased by Justin Sturk. Bill shared his love of baseball with close friends and family. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at TALLMAN FUNERAL HOME, 3277 King St. in Vineland on Friday, February 14th from 6-8:30pm and Saturday from 12:30-1:30pm. A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, February 15th at 1:30pm in the Tallman Chapel. Please join Denise, Lindsey, Cassandra and family on Saturday following the service at Lincoln Community Centre at 4361 Central Avenue in Beamsville from 3-5pm. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association in memory of Bill.
