To my dear cousins, Your mom & your dad were two of my favourite people & I was privileged to have them as my aunt & uncle. You are all blessed to have such wonderful parents as I am by mine. I learned a lot from both Aunt Irma & Uncle Peter, especially during my summer stays at the farm. They worked very hard (as you did) and they always exhibited a graciouslness that can only come from God, upon whom they relied all of their lives. Great was His faithfulness to them & to you! Sending love & comfort to you all.

...continued: After all these years, I never knew that Aunt Irma's given name was Irmgard! I now have a friend by that name; so I will be sure to tell her. *smile*

Aunt Irma was such a great aunt. I remember wanting to visit with my cousins Rosalie and Bernadette and my Mom would phone to see if it suited for us to come over. Of course we were invited to stay for Sunday supper. Aunt Irma was also lots of fun to be around. Remember taking her for a ride in my Fiat 850 convertible. See you on Sat.

We regret that we cannot give our condolences in person. I ( Dianna) have many good memories of spending time with the Duecks in my teenage years when visiting my friend, Rosalie. Mrs. Dueck was always so welcoming and offered many delicious meals. As time went on, whenever meeting her, she never failed to have a friendly smile and show interest in our family. She left a wonderful Christian heritage to her family. With sincere sympathy Ray and Dianna

To my cousins, I would like to offer my condolences. My memories of your Mother are as warm as the zweiback that baked in her oven! Although I was a bit younger than the six of you, I loved to visit your farm and spend time with you and your parents. I feel badly that I didn't send out my annual Christmas card this year, as I know she always loved to hear our exciting updates. The love and kindness that flowed from your Mom and her warm hands every time I saw her, I will always remember. The close family bond you all have is admirable and a tribute to both your Parents. Love, Pamela (Randy, Ellen, Harris and Anna)
